If you have changed your address or email, please let us know so the MTM database can be kept up to date. This way you get the good stuff and we get less returned mail. 105100.20@compuserve.com If for some reason you would like to be removed from the mailing list, please let us know. thecoburns@sympatico.ca Sorry we missed some of you but . . .Thanks very much to Grant and Liz Wilcox for hosting the MTM Winter soiree and meeting on February 20th. Granddaughter Chelsey Williams assisted with the hosting. The variety and quantity of food that arrived was humungous. Everyone prepared enough to feed the entire party. Liz & Grant say it is MTM's party and they are happy to open their home After each MTM Winter Party we leave and say that each of us brought too much and we each ate too much. Consensus is that all the dishes; chili, road kill, desserts, homemade breads and salads were delicious. The best part of the event is the camaraderie. We are all suffering from the marshal's or corner workers version of cabin fever. It is so great to get together and share plans for 1999. The MTM Executive conducted their meeting and plotted the division of labour for the forthcoming season. A good time was had by all!Congratulations as well . . . Judi Bennett was honoured at the Waterford Hills Road Racing banquet by being chosen the "Female Enthusiast of the Year, 1998" - and all know she is enthusiastic and worthy of the award. This Waterford Hills enthusiast cordially invites you out to help with worker bees this spring. April 10th and 11th are scheduled but check with Judi by email Shelbyracers@megsinet.net to confirm dates and times. The Detroit Region of SCCA honoured Mike Pickett for his contributions to the organization. He arranged for members a great series of tours to Viper/Prowler plant, Roush Race Truck shop and Ilmor Engineering. Rave reviews were heard from all MTM members who participated in the series. Mike also serves as the Assistant Regional Executive on the SCCA Detroit Region Board. |

It is only $14US for a once only lifetime membership fee. (Is that $200Cdn?) If you want to have a personal refresher course, then check out the Training Information on the MTM site for the Corner Captain's Crib Sheet plus Flags and Their Meanings. Newcomers welcomeDetroit Region Driver's School is a great opportunity to introduce new people to our love of racing and being part of the safety of the sport. Usually there is a training session and a mentor program for newcomers. The hospitality is great. Let Tom know if you are aware of interested people.
