Michigan Turn Marshals Fall 2001 UPDATER

 The race season in our areas have drawn to a close, but several MTM items come to mind.

 

1. Usually there is a winter meeting of the members of Michigan Turn Marshals around February of the new year. First we need a list of volunteers who are willing to host the informal get together. If you are interested in being the host/hostess please email thecoburns@cogeco.ca and I will share the hoards of names with the MTM Executive.
2. The February meeting is a time to select new Executive and Coordinators. Some members have expressed the desire and opportunity to have change and define the future course of Michigan Turn Marshals. Many people have served for a long time and may themselves wish a change. The positions are outlined in the MTM Constitution and the roles can be seen online at http://www.michiganturnmarshals.org

3. The Newsletter Editor is of the belief that the term of performing the news gathering and publishing should not be more than three (3) years. Three years have passed and a replacement is sought for the position, which can be very satisfying. All the files, past newsletters including the easy to use templates are available on CD-ROM with paper copies of anything you need. Please email your interest and willingness to participate in this organization to thecoburns@cogeco.ca (please note the new email address) and I will share the names with the MTM Executive. Another newsletter is being prepared. Please SUBMIT!!
